BY PLANE
The
nearest international airport is Zurich-Kloten (about 120 km away from Vaduz respectively 1.5 hours away by car/train). You
can take the train from Zurich to Sargans or Buchs and then continue on by bus to Vaduz (see bus information below). Other nearby airports are located in Friedrichshafen/D (about 86 km away from Vaduz respectively 1.10 hours by car) and Altenrhein/CH (about 53 km away from Vaduz respectively 36 minutes away by car). BY CAR
Liechtenstein is situated on the motorway route between Germany and Italy. The Swiss motorway N13 runs along the River Rhine, the border river to Liechtenstein. You then leave the motorway at the Sevelen-Vaduz exit and access Vaduz via the Rhine Bridge.
BY TRAIN
The
closest large railway stations in Switzerland are Buchs (SG) and Sargans at a distance of about 6 resp. 15 km away from Vaduz. The nearest Austrian railway station is Feldkirch, 20 km away from Vaduz. From all three railway stations you can then quickly and in comfort reach Vaduz by bus with the "Liechtenstein Bus Anstalt (LBA)".
